Product Applications
The PTGC Raisin Destemmer is primarily designed to address two key issues in the pre-market processing of raisins:
Destemming: This is the machine’s core function, which involves breaking up clumped raisins and removing any stems (rake) mixed in with them. These stems are residues left over from the sun-drying or oven-drying process and must be thoroughly removed before processing.
Impurity Removal: While destemming, the machine also removes dust and light impurities from the raisins, thereby improving their cleanliness.
